It's a small West Roxbury shop — BBB lists two employees and names Samar Abi Hassan Abdul Samad as owner — that started in July 2019 and, by the company's own account, began as a small handyman service before growing into a design-build practice for homeowners, landlords and real estate agents around Boston. The paperwork holds up. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, number 196810, is active in the state registry under the company's own name, and its BBB page carries an A+ with accreditation dating to December 2025. BBB additionally lists a construction supervisor number and a number from the state electricians' board for the business; those are the directory's entries, not something confirmed against a registry. The customer history is where a homeowner should slow down. Two reviews exist, both written in January 2023, and Angi and HomeAdvisor publish the same pair — so the 4.8 showing in two places is one set of ratings, not two. Both were short and pointed the same way: one called the work "very neat and efficient," the other was happy with the timeliness and called them "wonderful to work with." The only other outside account of a job is an architect's April 2024 LinkedIn post crediting the company as general contractor on a vaulted dining room in Wellesley. What's listed as the day-to-day work is unglamorous and specific: handyman repairs and installations, carpentry, interior and cabinet painting, door and window repairs, kitchen and bathroom renovations, junk removal and post-construction cleans. Angi and HomeAdvisor both note free estimates and Spanish spoken. So: active registration, permitted jobs in three towns, and a very short written trail from three years ago. That suits a homeowner willing to do their own vetting — ask for references from jobs in the last year, and get the scope and price in writing before work starts.
