Ask which they mean — an owner's years in the trade and a company's years in business are different claims, and the tenure figure is the one number here that doesn't line up. For a property manager, or a homeowner who needs concrete flatwork, steps or a retaining wall, this is a certified outfit with active state registrations and a clean BBB grade. You'd be hiring on credentials rather than on other customers' accounts, so ask for recent job addresses and references you can actually call.
