Ten reviews have landed in the last six months and not one is negative — which, for a remodeling contractor, is the hard part. Robert Way Construction works out of Norwood and does residential renovation: kitchens, bathrooms, additions, porches and the awkward in-between projects. The recent work reads like a neighborhood punch list. A primary bathroom rebuilt for accessibility, with permits and inspections cleared at each phase. A large addition plus a full kitchen where the plumbing and electrical turned out to be the real job. A second-floor closet converted into a combined laundry and TV room, washer-dryer on new tile behind louver doors. Twenty-three windows installed ahead of a hard winter. What customers describe most consistently is the machinery around the work: a named lead on site — Joey, Mike and Kevin recur — an office that sends reminders and meeting recaps, and cleanup at the end of every day. One reviewer in June 2026 put it as leaving the house better than they found it, mid-construction. There is a self-policing streak worth noting. In a March 2024 review, a homeowner said a window cracked accidentally during the project and the company replaced it at no charge, absorbing the cost. In an April 2025 review, a homeowner who was talked out of hiring them wrote that Robert stayed a full hour to advise on doing the job himself. The one real complaint is about the front end, not the build. In August 2025 a homeowner wrote that an estimate promised two weeks after the site visit turned into another two weeks, and called it a waste of time. A 2021 thread in r/Norwood hit the same wall from another angle: the poster found R.Way Construction, like the other local firms they had called, booked out to November. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, held under Robert Way Construction Inc. Subcontractors and trade partners write in too, in 2024 and 2025 reviews, describing the pre-planning and realistic budgets that let them schedule labor and materials — an unusual endorsement to get from the supply side. If you want a design-through-finish renovation and can wait for the calendar, they fit. Pin down the estimate date before the site visit, and ask when your project would actually start.
“Note: I have spoken with GFB Remodeling, R.Way Construction, Dennis Hays, Pine Street Construction and all don't have openings til November or later.”
From our first meeting, Rob Way's Team build immediate trust and helped us navigate custom design for a tricky space. Their office team is so helpful - sending reminders, meeting recaps, and keeping everyone on schedule. We couldn't have asked for a better team - Joey and everyone who came to our house were experts in their field, kind and clean. Everyday they left the house better than they found it - which is saying something mid-construction. We'd use them again and again.
We used RWC to remodel our primary bath, making it more accessible. The team was great! The subs were great. Everyone was there when they said and performed their jobs with great skill and care…..cleaning up every day. Inspections and permitting was done quickly at each phase. Mike always let me know what was going on and explained anything that needed explaining. Great project management made this the least painful project we have done in the 30+ years in our home.
Robert Way Construction always outperforms my expectations. All of their employees from the office staff to the construction crew go out of their way to do an excellent job. We have used them for many projects and have always been pleased.
A terrific company that does exceptional work each and every time. We first used Way Construction to enclose our back stairs and first floor porch. This was a big project and it went off without a hitch. Everyone who visits comments on the magnificent work they did. We highly recommend Robert Way Construction for all of your home needs.
Rob Way Construction recently completed a large addition and full kitchen renovation on our home, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The project came with some real challenges: significant plumbing and electrical work that required serious problem-solving, and they handled every hurdle without missing a beat. The end result is exactly the kitchen I'd always dreamed of, and it came in under budget, which almost seems too good to be true in today's environment. Every subcontractor they brought in was respectful of our home and our family, and careful with their work throughout. If you're considering a major renovation, Rob Way is the real deal: professional, skilled, and trustworthy from start to finish. Highly recommend.
