The one piece of outside word about it comes from an r/boston thread in April 2026, where a commenter called Ray Ellis reliable and honest and said he had done many similar projects in Newton. That single recommendation is all there is from anyone outside the business. No customer reviews have turned up on Google or the directories, so nothing yet describes how one of his jobs actually ran — scope, schedule, or what the finished work looked like. One anonymous recommendation is a reason to make the call, not a reason to skip the homework. Ask for two or three recent Newton or South Shore jobs you can phone about, and get scope, timeline and payment terms in writing before anyone starts.
