Northeastern Fence & Supply Corporation has sold fence materials out of the same Saugus showroom since 1954 — the company describes itself as family-owned, with a sales team carrying more than 75 years of combined experience in the trade. There's no online store; buying here means calling or walking into the Route 1 showroom, the way it's operated for seven decades, serving homeowners and fence contractors alike. On Google, where it holds 4.5 stars across 108 ratings, the tone over the past few months has stayed positive: reviewers in April, May, and June praised the in-stock selection — one called it easy to find everything they needed ready to pick up — along with fair pricing on parts and steady counter service. Its Better Business Bureau file, open since 2003, carries an A+ grade. Across the fuller review history, 32 reviews dating back to 2021 across four sources, the tone leans favorably positive but isn't spotless: a minority of reviews describe dissatisfaction with installation quality and how repair requests were handled afterward. The business presents itself first as a materials supplier and showroom rather than an installation crew — a manufacturer and distributor of fencing materials, per its BBB file — and that's borne out in what customers write about most: finding the right panel, post cap, or chain-link hardware in stock at a price better than the big-box stores. Anyone hiring for the actual installation, not just materials, should ask directly who does that work and what the guarantee covers before signing anything. It's a solid call for homeowners or contractors sourcing vinyl, cedar, chain link, or ornamental fencing without hunting across multiple suppliers — just confirm lead times and the installation arrangement up front.

No stars. Terrible. Fence did not even last 1 year. Flew away. Shoddy work and bad material and installation. ZERO stars. Refused to fix and sent me a bill to come back.
