FANTASTIC NECE installed the system in 2023 and did a great, thorough job, no trash, no problems! Here in 2026 I needed unforseen major chimney work. They came back and in two hours took off a third of it and 8 days later, put it back on. What was so perfect was they coordinated with the mason, Kiwi chimney in Rutland MA, and worked out how to not have to take off the rails and thus save me a tremendous amount of money. Thank you to both companies! The two guys gave me a bonus as they left the micro inverters and I was able to run the rest of the system (off the two days the masons were up on the roof) and I made nearly 200kwh! The guys (3 over the two days) were super friendly and nice. Very efficient and left no rubbish or damage. Turned it back on assessed the system and off they went. So far I’m very impressed with NECE. They kept me informed while National Grid reviewed form after form. The installation team was great and efficient. JJ was a great team leader and went out of his way to accommodate two work from homers while the installation took place. Next up for me is the wait for. NG to allow us to operate.

Very courteous and professional help with my solar issue from Matthew. He kept me up to date with service schedule and followed up to see if I was satisfied. very quick and clean work done on my inverter to get the solar power working again. They have been expedient every time I need them.

I have been a New England Clean Energy customer for 10 years and I'd like to share my experience. The sales process was low pressure. They explained the benefits of solar, outlined the purchasing and installation process, and answered all my questions along the way. They helped me navigate the financial incentives (Federal and State tax benefits, and the SRECs). There were upfront costs, but I can honestly say that I have more than made up for that over the 10 years of use (lack of monthly electric bill). The actual installation was top notch. They spent the time and effort to make the final product work as promised and to aesthetically look great. For my case, the installation included panels and optimizers on the roof, wiring into the attic and internally down to my basement to the inverter next to my circuit box and to an external shutoff switch by the outside electric meter. All this was done with professionalism, expertise and minimal interruption. My first KWH of solar electricity was generated July 7, 2016. Since then, the system has worked as promised. I have had a couple issues over the years, but New England Clean Energy worked with me and honored their warranties and the manufacturers warranties. They were not the least expensive option, but I feel the "extra" money was well spent. You will want a reputable company that will be there and that will work with you, should you need them. My system continues to provide me electricity. I am extremely satisfied in choosing solar and choosing New England Clean Energy for my installation.

NECE installed our solar array in 2016. We had a great experience and would highly recommend them. But what makes NECE truly stellar is their post-install customer service. Until this year, we only needed to contact the Service Department once for something indirectly related to our array. They helped immediately - problem solved. This year, however, we had a more significant problem with our array. The NECE Service Department was amazing. They were responsive, easy to work with, and successfully diagnosed and fixed the problem. They also assisted with post-repair communication with MassCEC and others about the impact on our production reporting. We are very happy with the outcome. Thank you, NECE Service team!
