In a 2020 review, an architect hired him to replace a retaining wall and build a walkway from the driveway to the front door, and said Adam pushed the design past what he'd drawn himself. Another 2020 customer wanted a woodstove chimney repaired and waterproofed after indoor water damage, and wrote that of everyone he called for quotes, Adam was the quickest to respond, priced competitively, and gave advice that wasn't alarmist. Front steps come up twice; so does the clean job site. The most recent account is from June 2026, a homeowner whose stone foundation he re-pointed. That matters, because the written history is lopsided toward the beginning: five of the eight reviews were posted in 2020 and 2021, with one in 2023 and one this year. It is a real, consistent record — no complaint appears anywhere in it — but it is a shallow one, spread thin over six years rather than a steady stream. Worth knowing the range is a little wider than the name suggests, and worth asking about directly if that's what you need. The right call here is the chimney, step, wall and stone-repair work that a one-man shop does well and a big crew won't bother with. Before booking, ask for recent local references — the reviews are strong but not numerous, and most of them are several years old — and confirm registration and insurance for the specific job you have in mind.
