The jobs people call MetroWest Disposal for tend to be the ones nobody else wants: a piano, a stove wedged in a tight space, a parent's house after the funeral. Across 40 Google ratings the average sits at a flat 5.0, and the 32 written accounts going back to 2021 don't contain a complaint. The company hauls junk and rents dumpsters out of Ashland, covering Boston and the MetroWest towns — Wellesley, Natick, Framingham, Newton, Weston, Wayland, Sherborn — on residential and commercial work, and says it sorts what it takes into recycle, donate and dispose. It describes itself as locally owned and run by a local family. Two names carry the reviews. Matt runs through the 2021 and 2022 accounts: fitting in a short-notice pickup in November 2021, clearing a junk-filled garage in under an hour in August 2021. Meghan carries the later ones. A customer doing a substantial home cleanout in May 2025 said she came out quickly to assess, quoted the project accurately, and set expectations about how the process would go; in March 2025, a family clearing a home after a relative's death described her as understanding about the state the house was in and steady on communication throughout. The recurring details are small and specific. A July 2024 customer said Meghan supervised the crew herself and that they vacuumed the porch so no broken glass was left behind. Another in June 2024 watched the team work a large appliance out of a tight space. A March 2024 reviewer had an elderly aunt with 30-plus years of belongings to donate and came away describing the whole thing as calm and compassionate. Heavy and awkward is the through-line: an August 2021 customer said they took a piano and furniture others could not, and this March a customer had a piano removed and called them reliable and communicative. Two practical notes. Its Better Business Bureau profile lists one employee and carries no rating — the bureau opened its file on April 1, 2026 and marks the business as operating less than six months, which sits oddly against a Google review history running back to 2021. And nearly all of the praise lives on one platform. For a cleanout, an estate, a garage, or one heavy thing two people can't lift, this is a well-reviewed local option with a specific record for the emotionally hard jobs. Get the quote in writing after someone has seen the actual volume, confirm what gets donated versus dumped if that matters to you, and match the crew size to the size of your job before the truck is booked.
Removed a piano for me. Reliable and communicative. Would recommend!
I highly recommend MWD. We hired them to do a substantial home cleanout. Meghan was highly responsive and came out quickly to assess our needs and quoted the project accurately. She managed expectations very well about the process and the team was polite, professional, and punctual. We had a very limited window to do the work, on a holiday weekend no less, but MWD did what was necessary to get it done.
Meghan really did a great job! I strongly recommend MetroWest Disposal and Junk Removal. We were doing a home clean out after a relative passed away. She was incredibly understanding about the situation of the home to start with. She also did a great job communicating throughout the process and saving a few meaningful items while discarding the rest. I have never seen the house as clean at is it looks now.
Meghan is very responsive and kind. She was able to accurately quote the job and be timely about pickup. Can’t recommend these guys highly enough.
They were great - came to house very quickly and got job done quickly!!
