Marcos Tree Services and Landscaping, out of Lynn, is a name reviewers barely use — most just call it "Marco Tree Service," and the work backs that up: rotted pines, storm-split oaks, and whole stands of trees taken down in a day, not garden beds. Across 21 Google reviews this year, the rating sits at 4.9, and the same specifics repeat: crews arrive on time, move fast (one five-tree job started at 7:30 and wrapped same day), and leave the yard looking untouched despite running a cherry picker through it. One customer says the quote for removing a storm-damaged oak beat every other tree company "by a mile." One review breaks the pattern: a 2-star complaint from May describes an extra $250 charged for a limb the crew decided wasn't in the original price, and says the lawn damage from the job was patched by shoveling loose pine straw into the holes rather than actually repairing it. Worth getting the full scope of work, and exactly how any lawn damage will be fixed, spelled out before the crew shows up. Only one of the 21 reviews describes landscape work proper — a spring cleanup with edging and mulch — so despite the name, this reads as a tree-removal operation first. It's a solid call for a big or hazardous tree that needs to come down; for ongoing lawn or landscape care, it's worth asking directly whether that's still something they take on.

Marcos and his team took a giant pine tree from our backyard that was rotted through the middle. I was so worried about our yard being torn up from the mobile equipment but the grass still looks fantastic, you'd barely know they were there. The team did a wonderful job. Would highly recommend.
