LifeCycle Transitions

LifeCycle Transitions is not a trade contractor in the usual sense. It sells the coordination of a hard moment — a hoarding cleanup, a downsizing, a relocation, a distressed-property "home rescue" — as a single package, and its own site claims more than 1,000 completed transitions for families across New England, New York, Illinois and Indiana. The company is built around its founder, Brandon Bronaugh; a September 2025 article described him as the host of A&E's "Hoarders" as well as the company's founder and CEO. What customers say is genuinely split, and there is not much of it. On Google the company sits at 3 stars from two ratings. Its BBB page carries an A grade and accreditation dating to March 2023, and the three reviews there are positive. That same page states three complaints have been filed against the business. The one detailed account of an actual job is rough. A customer writing in September 2025 said they overpaid for work that was not completed properly, that the people cleaning were nice but lacked organizing skills, that the place would need a deep clean now that the crew had finished, and that many things were thrown out without being asked. Earlier, in an August 2022 Trustpilot post, someone wrote that they would be wary of the company, saying they had approached it expecting compassion and resources for people in hoarding or mobility-limited situations. The company's own history does not line up cleanly across sources either. BBB records the business as started in 2007 and incorporated in 2016, with 20 employees and four locations across Massachusetts and Rhode Island (Randolph is listed as headquarters). The site says the founder began as Top Notch Transitions, recruited a team in 2010, renamed the company in 2017, and claims 15+ years. A June 2025 article credited the founder with over 11 years of experience; a September 2025 article put the company at about 17 years old. If you are facing a hoarding cleanup or clearing out a parent's house, this is an outfit organized specifically for that work, and it coordinates the pieces most families cannot line up alone. But the most detailed account of a finished job on file is a bad one, and it lands on the two things that matter most in this trade: what gets thrown away, and what the space looks like when the crew leaves. Before signing, get in writing what will be discarded and who decides, what "finished" means for each room, and exactly what the price covers.
