Jeffrey Rowe Carpentry is a one-person shop in Milton, Massachusetts, built around big, hands-on carpentry work that keeps the same clients coming back. Jeffrey Rowe says on his own site that he's been in the building trade since 1978 and running the business for more than 25 years, working solo on everything from finish carpentry to full additions. The clearest thing here is repeat business. One reviewer describes using Jeff on "many many projects" — two deck rebuilds, a full bathroom remodel, and a complete gut-and-rebuild of a house — and calls his work "always professional" and precise. Another has hired him for over 30 years across finish carpentry, a bath remodel, a finished basement, a kitchen remodel, porch additions, and structural work that included removing a load-bearing wall and installing a carrying beam, saying every job was done well and on time. A third simply calls the work professional and neat. All three are five-star Google reviews from this year. That pattern holds up off Google too: a Porch listing shows a 5.0 average across 16 reviews for the same mix of kitchen, bath, deck, and custom cabinet work, and BBB — where the business isn't accredited — still grades it A+ and lists a Massachusetts Board of Building Regulations and Standards registration, #121635. Before calling, know this is a true one-man operation: BBB lists a single employee, so a big renovation runs on one person's calendar, not a crew's. The years-in-business claim also isn't perfectly consistent — Jeff's own site says "over 25 years," while a third-party directory mention puts it at 35 — worth a quick clarifying question if the exact track record matters to you. For structural carpentry, additions, and full bath or kitchen work handled start to finish by the same person, Jeffrey Rowe Carpentry has a small but consistent record behind it. Confirm his current availability and timeline up front, since there's no larger crew to absorb a scheduling crunch.

Jeff has been doing work for us for over 30 years. Jobs range from finish carpentry to bath remodel to finish basement to kitchen remodel to porch additions to interior redesign including load wall removal and carrying beam installation. Every job was done very well and on time. Jeff is very meticulous in his work. Always leaves the job site very clean. Very easy to work with. Jeff communicates through all phases of the job regarding progress and and surprises that may arise. He also has offered great ideas/improvements given his vast construction experience. Highly recommend Jeff for your project.
