J&G Masonry and Landscape Construction Inc, based on Broad St in Lynn, MA, is run by owner-operator Jairo Lopez and has built its business primarily around residential landscaping and masonry work — not fencing, despite how it's sometimes categorized. The company self-reports roughly a decade in business, though its own directory profiles disagree on the exact figure, stating both eight and ten years for the same company. The track record is broad and current: 19 reviews across four sources since 2025, 16 of them landing in just the last six months, with none negative. Homeowners repeatedly single out routine yard work — mowing, weeding, mulching, and spring and fall cleanups — as reliably well done, and several mention Jairo personally checking in during jobs. On the hardscape side, reviewers describe a concrete walkway-and-apron replacement, a stone walkway install, and hours spent digging out a stubborn row of dead privet as clean, thorough work, and multiple reviewers say they've hired the crew repeatedly over several years. One reviewer also credits the team with a basement leak repair and yard drainage reroute, and another with gutter cleaning alongside a stone walkway — evidence the crew handles a range of small-to-mid exterior projects beyond core lawn care. One thing worth flagging before booking: fence work shows up only once across the whole evidence set, bundled into a single job alongside cement work and mulching — this doesn't read as a dedicated fencing specialist, whatever category it's listed under. Its Angi listing, while a perfect 5.0, rests on just a single review, thin next to the Google and Thumbtack volume, and that same listing states no warranty is offered — worth asking directly what recourse looks like if something goes wrong. For yard maintenance, seasonal cleanups, and small-to-mid hardscape projects like walkways, patios, or drainage fixes, the pattern across dozens of recent reviews is strongly positive and consistent across Google, Thumbtack, and Angi alike. Anyone specifically shopping for a fence installer should look elsewhere or confirm directly, since fencing isn't what the evidence shows this crew is actually known for.

Great job on my landscaping. Needed some serious weeding, trimming and mulching done. The crew were professional and hard working. My property looks great. I’m glad I hired J and G Landscaping and will do so again in the future. Highly recommend!

We are repeat customers of J&G Masonry. Jairo and his team are the best! For this particular job, Jairo and team replaced our old cement walkway with pavers and poured a concrete apron. As always, Jairo was professional and communicative. The job was done efficiently, and we are incredibly happy with the results. We recommend J&G to anyone who needs masonry and landscaping!

J&G delivered exactly what they said that they would. I needed a row of dead privet removed and the ground dug up and they were tirelessly for hours getting all the little roots out. I would certainly use them again for any landscape projects I had.
