Sometimes the best gifts are the ones that make life a little easier, and that is exactly what happened for Cheryl and me this week. Without us knowing, all four of our children got together and arranged for Isaac from Isaac Painting and Construction to come to our home and power wash our pool deck and outdoor furniture as a surprise gift to help us get ready for summer. It was an incredibly thoughtful gesture by the kids, and the results exceeded all of our expectations. The story actually started with our daughter Isabel, who found Isaac's company on Thumbtack. She told me that he responded quickly to her inquiry, said he could come out the very next day, and offered a very reasonable price. In today's world, finding someone who is responsive, available, and fairly priced can be a challenge, so that was a great first impression before he even arrived. Normally, Cheryl would have been the one out there spending hours cleaning everything herself, so this was not only a wonderful surprise but also a huge help. From the moment Isaac arrived, it was obvious that he takes tremendous pride in his work. He was professional, friendly, courteous, and focused from start to finish. There was no standing around, no wasted time, and no cutting corners. He worked steadily the entire time and paid attention to every detail. What impressed me most was how thorough he was. Our pool deck, patio furniture, and outdoor seating areas looked noticeably brighter and cleaner when he was finished. Years of dirt, pollen, and New England weather had been washed away, leaving everything looking refreshed and ready for another summer of family gatherings, cookouts, and pool days. Just as important, Isaac was a pleasure to work with. He was respectful of our property, easy to talk to, and clearly committed to doing the job right. The photos really speak for themselves. They did a lot of tape repair, painted walls, ceilings, closets and went beyond what I expected. In the kitchen the ceiling had been damaged but Isaacs made it look great again. In my laundry room there were a lot of holes but they repaired which was a nice surprise. The best compliment I can pay them is that I am going to have them paint my other home as I am very satisfied with the job they did in Wakefield
