That is the most recent thing anyone has written about the Highland Group at Compass — a 1★ Google review from June 2026 in which a would-be renter says they were handed from realtor to realtor until the unit was leased out from under them. It is a jarring note against everything else written about this team, and worth starting with, because everything else is older. The group works out of 75 Crest Ave in Winthrop and says it serves Winthrop, Revere, East Boston, South Boston, Saugus and Boston, operating under the Compass brokerage. Its site claims a 40-year history in real estate without naming a founding year, and presents the business as a bench of agents rather than one owner's shop. That bench is what sellers actually write about. Through the 2021–2023 reviews the same four names keep surfacing — Chrissy D'Ambrosio, Jonathan Polino, Sharon Tallent, Atiyeh Cassidy — and the praise is transactional rather than vague. A 2023 seller credited Cassidy with a sale over asking and a purchase under it in the same move. Another 2023 reviewer said Tallent valued a Winthrop condo above what a previous agent had quoted, then closed it in November. A 2023 review describes an open house two days after the property was prepped and a signed offer two days after that; a 2021 one has a condo going after a single weekend of open houses, and another from that year describes an agent adding a holiday-weekend showing that drew an over-asking offer the same night. Speed to market and local pricing on the Winthrop-side condo and single-family trade are the through-line — the listing side, not the rental desk. Google shows 4.8 across 54 ratings, and the written comments line up with that for the years they cover. What they do not cover is now. The praise runs 2021 to 2023 and then largely stops; the one comment from the last six months is the rental complaint. So pin down two things before you list: which specific agent will handle your property, since the good reviews credit individuals rather than a desk, and how an inquiry gets routed, so you are not passed along the way that renter was. For a Winthrop or East Boston seller who wants a local read on price and a listing pushed to market quickly, the older reviews make a real case. If you are renting, or you want current proof rather than a 2023 track record, ask for recent comparable closings before signing anything.
