G&C WoodWorking LLC is a small carpentry and renovation outfit in Everett, run by owner Edward Gallardo — three years in business, according to its Better Business Bureau listing. On Google, it has built a clean five-star average across seven ratings, and one client, writing earlier this year, put it simply: "To us, his name stands for quality, proactivity, and professionalism." That praise sits next to a harder story. G&C's BBB profile — not an accredited business, despite carrying an A+ letter grade — includes a review describing a renovation left unfinished mid-project: tile, windows, and bathroom hardware had already been ordered when the owner decided he was no longer interested in the job. The reviewer says it wasn't a one-off, calling it something Gallardo has done before. That's a serious thing to set against seven positive Google ratings. A glowing quote and a five-star average are easy to rack up off a handful of happy jobs; a documented account of a mid-project walkout, described as a repeat pattern, carries more weight than either. Before hiring, it's worth asking directly for a firm project timeline and completion commitment in writing, and talking to a couple of his past clients rather than relying on the reviews alone. G&C WoodWorking may still be the right call for someone who does that legwork and comes away comfortable, but the BBB account is not something to wave off on a shop this small and this early in its history.

We couldn't be more pleased with the outstanding and dedicated work completed by G&C Woodworking LLC. They transformed our kitchen beautifully, showing true professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to quality throughout the entire process. What impressed us even more was their willingness to assist with other areas of our home--going above and beyond what was expected. Their expertise, reliability, and friendly service made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Edgar and his team did a really good job on my full house renovation project with high quality and very reasonable price. He is a very honest person. He does what he said and will not overcharge you like some other contractors. I had a very tight timeline, but he is so efficient and has many good resources who are fully supporting him. He got the job done in a timely manner without compromising the quality or the cost. I not only like his craftmanship and but also his attitude of "doing things in the right way and beautiful way". My house looks totally different after his great work. I will use him again on my next project.

We have hired Edgar in few renovation projects, including our own home. To us, his name stands for quality, proactivity, and professionalism. With zero drama and fair pricing, he will always be our top choice.
