On Google, Foliaire holds a 3.6-star average, but from only 7 ratings, and the handful of other reviews on file are mixed rather than uniformly positive. The sharpest complaint describes two crew members loudly cursing and arguing while working at a neighboring South End property, audible from several floors up in an adjoining building — a complaint about conduct on the job site rather than the finished landscaping. Elsewhere, the firm has picked up trade recognition: Houzz lists a Greater Boston Business Council Community Service Award and two Environmental Improvement awards from the Associated Landscape Contractors of America, and one directory placed it on a "best landscaper contractors in Boston" shortlist.
