Done Right Services is a Billerica outfit built around one narrow, awkward job: the fieldstone and rubble foundations under New England's older houses. Re-pointing, crack repair, waterproofing, sump pumps and basement floors are the whole menu, across eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. Its record is credentials rather than customers. The BBB has it accredited since 2014 with an A+ grade, lists the business as starting in October 1998 and incorporating in 2010, and names Jeremy Custeau as owner of a five-person shop; the company's own site says more than 30 years on foundations and masonry. No platform carries a customer star rating, and no written reviews sit on file anywhere. The one piece of outside word-of-mouth is a March 2022 thread on r/massachusetts about digging out a stone rubble foundation, where a commenter said they had their field stone work repaired by the company and pointed the poster at it as a stone-foundation specialist. That is a single anonymous comment — useful, not proof. One flag worth raising directly: its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (#152564) shows as expired against the state registry as of today's check, and foundation and waterproofing work is not one of the trades Massachusetts exempts. Ask for the current registration and insurance certificate before any work starts, and get the 30-year transferable warranty the site advertises in writing. Worth a call if you have a fieldstone foundation and want a specialist rather than a general contractor — but treat the credentials question as the first conversation, not the last.
