The pattern that keeps repeating in Crafted Design Build's reviews is a rescue. A homeowner in April 2026 was referred to the Mashpee firm after nonstop issues with another big local company left them failing inspection repeatedly; Konstantin put a crew together quickly and got them through. An August 2025 customer arrived after two false starts with other builders. A May 2025 client had parted ways with a builder mid-project and says the team cleaned up both a disorganized job and the mess at the building department.
That seems to be what they get called for: additions, whole-home renovations, and Cape houses with awkward problems. A Falmouth homeowner writing in October 2025 had skylight sizes other contractors wouldn't touch, done alongside a new roof and a rebuilt deck. A March 2025 reviewer had a 1976-era Cape reworked over several years — a window seat and shelving, a bathroom, a ceiling lifted to fit a staircase. Konstantin Alexsandrov, Jordan Race, Ronan and Cam get named by first name over and over, which usually means a shop where the principals stay on the job.
Two March 2025 reviews are notable for the opposite reason: they describe work that never happened. A Sandwich homeowner worried about sagging floors says Jordan spent a couple of hours and talked him out of the job, calling it ordinary settling for an old house. A metal fabrication shop needing structural steel drawings was pointed to a different firm entirely. Neither one paid them anything.
Across Google's 25 ratings and Houzz's 13, the average is 5.0 with no negative comment anywhere — which is worth reading carefully rather than at face value. All 22 reviews were posted in 2025 or 2026, so the written history runs about eighteen months, and BuildZoom's permit records list just three permitted jobs in two years, all window or siding replacements in Dennis and West Harwich. Reviewers describing garage additions and whole-home renovations, and a permit file showing small exterior swaps, do not line up neatly. Its BBB page carries an A grade and accreditation; BuildZoom and Houzz both list a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration numbered 210595.
On price, the one unsolicited outside voice is blunt. A May 2025 commenter on r/CapeCod called them a team who take the time to figure out what you actually want, then added: "Not the cheapest, though."
Worth a call if your project is complicated, half-finished, or has already gone wrong with somebody else. Ask for references on a job the size of yours and get the quote broken out stage by stage — the reviewers who sound happiest are the ones who knew what each step would cost before it started.
