One name runs through almost every review of this Norwood company: George, the owner, out to look at the property within a day and usually working the job himself. Across 119 Google ratings averaging 4.9 and another 38 aggregated on Porch at 4.7, the story repeats — a call returned quickly, an estimate inside 24 or 48 hours, a crew on site within the week. Seasonal cleanups are the bread and butter. Customers writing this May describe mulching, hedge and tree trimming and yards put back in order, one noting the crew talked through what to do next season. Earlier accounts fill in the routine: dethatching and overseeding a lawn in April 2025, leaves and branches cleared and mulch spread around bushes, a full lawn revitalization with re-sodding in March 2025. The bigger projects show up too. A May 2025 customer restoring a fixer-upper described shrubs taken out, many plants and trees installed and new beds cut around the whole house, working to a plan they had in mind. A September 2025 reviewer credited the crew with choosing and planting trees and stripping so much ivy weed off a stone wall that the wall itself turned up. In November 2023 a homeowner had a fallen oak removed as part of a fall cleanup, and in February 2024 another had a storm-downed tree collected and cut back promptly. One August 2025 reviewer summed up the appeal plainly: they answer the phone, show up when they say, and the work costs what they said it would. The thing to pin down is the finish. Two customers describe the same shape of problem and both caught it late. In October 2025 one wrote that final payment was handed over on the understanding several remaining items would be completed, then months of missed dates followed and the work was never done. A 2022 reviewer went back and edited their review to say they had found significant problems with the final work only after paying. Nothing in the last six months echoes it — the five most recent reviews are all positive — but it is a specific complaint about the same stage of the job, twice. For seasonal cleanups, mulching, tree and brush work and full-yard resets, the history here is deep and consistent. Before you book, put the punch list in writing with a date attached, and hold back a meaningful share of the payment until you have walked the finished yard yourself.
