Boston Realty Works works out of 211 Park Drive in the Fenway, and the only person who has written publicly about them did not hold back. That account, posted to Google in March 2025, carries one star. The writer, a tenant in the building, described agents being let into the apartment without the occupant being told, said the door code was handed out to agents whenever someone booked a viewing, and counted roughly six showing emails over two to three months sent to the wrong agents. They called it a horrific experience and said their own agent was raising the same complaint. Google shows a single 1-star rating overall, which is that same review. There is one other trace, and it is old: a 2011 thread on r/boston, where a commenter listed Boston Realty Works among half a dozen Boston firms to avoid, without saying why. One review is not a track record, and a fifteen-year-old one-line warning is not corroboration. But nothing published anywhere pulls the other way — there are no positive accounts to weigh against it, and the one detailed complaint is about access to a home someone was living in, which is the kind of thing worth resolving before you sign anything. If you are considering them, the practical questions are narrow and answerable: who holds the door codes, what notice a tenant or seller gets before a showing, and who exactly is on the email chain. Ask those first, and confirm the brokerage's licence status directly with the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons.
