The written record is small and dated. A client writing in August 2019 — on what they said was their fourth renovation or construction project — described Chris Bilek raising questions before they became problems and bringing solutions when issues arose, and named project manager Lou and the subcontractors as responsive and courteous. A 2015 reviewer said the same thing more briefly: subcontractors clean and courteous, recommended for projects big or small. That is two reviews, from 2015 and 2019, on a 5.0 Houzz average. Nothing negative appears, but nothing recent does either. The firm also turned up in a 2025 r/CapeCod thread on residential contractors, shared as one of the Mid-Cape names worth looking at. Historic preservation is the distinctive line here, and the award backs it. Before hiring, ask for recent homeowner references and confirm the Massachusetts registration and construction supervisor licence directly with the state.
