Bella Masonry and Construction runs out of North Brookfield, working the towns of Middlesex and Worcester counties on the kind of job that starts with a crack in a foundation wall or water where it shouldn't be. The company describes itself as family owned and, on its own site, as firefighter/first-responder owned — its own account of who's behind the work, not something an outside registry confirms. Foundation crack injection, carbon fiber reinforcement, bulkhead repair, sump pumps and French drains make up the bulk of what it says it does, and it's a certified installer of the Rhino Carbon Fiber system used in a lot of that structural work. The volume of review activity behind the name is substantial: a perfect 5.0 across 33 Google reviews, 4.8 from 37 ratings on Angi, and an A+ from the Better Business Bureau, where it's been accredited since 2017. The two directories don't agree on how long it's been around — BBB lists 16 years in business, Angi's profile claims 23 years of experience — but either way this isn't a company that just started taking calls. Across that history, reviewers keep coming back to the same idea: the owner, Adam Mercurio, walks people through what's actually wrong with a foundation before touching it, and follows through on what he says he'll do. Worth asking about before booking: Angi's profile, alongside all that praise, also carries one serious complaint — a customer describing a larger remodel job (roofing, windows, a retaining wall, siding) that went sideways, with a billing dispute that escalated to a lien and a lawyer. It's a single account set against a much longer run of satisfied foundation and waterproofing customers, but it's real, and it points at bigger multi-trade jobs rather than the core crack-and-leak work the company is built around. For a cracked foundation, a leaking basement, or a bulkhead that needs replacing, the history here is deep and consistent across three independent platforms. If the job grows beyond that into a full remodel with several trades involved, get the scope and cost in writing before work starts — that's exactly where the one bad account on record went wrong.

The owner, Adam, gave us a very detailed overview of what the job would entail, which we really appreciated. He was very professional and nice to talk to. The business office manager, Sandi, was also very kind and professional, and was great at communicating updates for the job. Adam and his team did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend this company!

I contacted Bella Masonry and Construction for help with some moisture and cracking concerns with our basement. Bella was excellent about responding and scheduling an appointment and worked with me to fit something into an awkward calendar. Adam from Bella conducted an extremely thorough inspection of our foundation and basement. This guy is an absolute expert. He listened very carefully and asked really good questions (stuff I never thought to check for). I was very pleased with the time he took to review everything with me and he seemed genuinely interested in solving the problem rather than selling solutions I could buy myself at HD. I also felt that if Bella wasn't the right company for the job, they would let you know and hook you up with the right folks. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Bella Masonry for any issues related to our foundation, basement, drainage, etc.

We just had our foundation fixed by Bella Masonary and construction. Adam and his crew were absolutely amazing and professional, and kept us informed of everything they were doing. It was one of the easiest transactions I have ever had. Last night was the first time I enjoyed hearing the rain coming down on the roof because I knew it wasn’t going into my basement because Adam and his crew took care of it! I would highly recommend them to everyone!

I hadn't even hired Adam when he spent an hour on the phone giving me advice about how to deal with my ancient fieldstone foundation. I had spoken with several other masons but it was quite clear that Adam was at another level than they were in his comprehension of the issues I was having. What a confidence builder. Generous and wise, Adam is an unusually engaged craftsman. I will be calling him again.

I had Bella Construction out to help with a unique construction project for a home elevator. They were superb, and the job came out spot-on perfect. Communication was excellent, and they showed up everytime they said they would. I look forward to future projects with them!
