Archadeck of Suburban Boston builds outdoor living structures — decks, screened and three-season porches, patios, sunrooms, pergolas and hardscapes — from 16 Adams St in Burlington. The Massachusetts Construction Supervisor licence CS-056609 is verified active against the state registry, held by owner Michael A Chaisson, and the Better Business Bureau both accredits the company and grades it A+. Ratings are strong and current: 4.7 from 89 Google ratings and 4.9 from 41 on Houzz, with eight reviews in the last six months and none of them negative. The praise is unusually specific about the front half of the job. Clients name their designers — Krisoula, Larry — and describe 3D renderings that matched the finished deck, options walked through in detail, and designs shaped around odd constraints. A June 2026 client's three-season porch on a 100-year-old house came in on time and on budget with no surprises. A February 2026 client building a large back deck got daily emails naming who would be on site and for what, work continued through a New England November, and the crew left the site tidy. A January 2025 client reported the company handling permitting, and a January 2025 reviewer credited them with navigating a lengthy local Conservation Commission process. They take on complicated work. A March 2024 client had a porch rebuilt on an 1855 house where the structure was pulling away and the roof and floorboards were unsafe, with supports routed around water and sewer lines. A February 2024 project replaced pressure-treated decking with TimberTech and enclosed an open porch as a three-season room. An August 2023 reviewer had a mahogany deck Archadeck built eleven years earlier repaired in an afternoon at what they called a reasonable price, and several clients are on their second project. Three things to weigh. Price: a May 2025 reviewer put it plainly — the pricing is not on the lower end, but said you get what you pay for. Subcontracting: a January 2025 client explained that carpentry, electrical, landscaping, tile and footings were all subcontracted, that they had to source a surveyor, a fireplace vendor and painters themselves, and suggested electrical planning should start earlier in design rather than waiting for rough carpentry. Schedule and durability: a September 2021 reviewer gave two stars over a job that ran three months late with communication they had asked for up front and did not get, and an April 2024 reviewer rating three stars said that on a pre-pandemic deck the decorative baluster pieces and the trim wrapping at the base of the posts had begun falling apart, and wished the composite decking had been picture-framed. They are a strong fit for a homeowner who wants a designed, permitted outdoor structure and values a documented process over the lowest bid. Ask specifically which trades are subcontracted, when electrical gets planned, and what the warranty covers on decorative trim.
“Great company to work with as they installed a tri-level deck at our home. The communication from the beginning of the process with Krisoula through the end of the process with Mike & Araceli was great, we were always kept informed every step of the way. Although their pricing is not on the lower end, you defi”
“Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey and Alison Love of 30 Francis Wyman Road were present. As well as Ms. Varoudakis, project designer from Archadeck of Suburban Boston was also present. She explained the scope of the project as a screen porch addition to an existing second floor deck at the rear of the property. There will be no soil disturbance as the porch will be built on helical piles. The applicants are requesting a waiver of the 40’ no-build zone to BVW. The 12’ x 21’ porch will be placed over the existing lawn.”
We are very happy with our new three-season porch, which was designed and built by Archadeck of Suburban Boston. Every step of the process, from initial design consultations with Larry through to finished construction, went smoothly - on time and budget and with no surprises. Mike and the team were very professional and easy to work with. The workmanship is stellar, and we appreciated the hard work, professionalism and care taken by the crew during construction. The porch is beautiful and fits organically with our 100-year old home - we just love it! We would gladly recommend Archadeck to anyone looking for a new deck, porch or other outside project.
I hired Archadeck to replace an existing deck. They did a great job and gave me ideas on improvements that I would have never thought of. The deck is solid and should last a very long time.
Archadeck is the most thorough contractor I have ever hired. Their attention to detail is amazing and they were extremely responsive to any questions or requests that I had. Before I signed the contract, I asked for contact information on previous customers. I wrote to two of them and within a couple of hours I received responses from both with glowing praise for the work Achadeck had done. Everything they said they would do, they did. I have no hesitation recommending them.

I highly recommend Archadeck of Boston! When my husband and I wanted to convert our deck to a 3 season room, we found them through all the great reviews. Krisoula followed up with us pretty quickly and from there it was a seamless process. Everyone at Archadeck was professional, attentive and easy to work with. The room came out gorgeous and everything that we wanted. Highly recommend them for your deck, porch, etc project! True professionals.
