Ask what All-Terior actually does and the reviews answer with one word more than any other: ceilings. Popcorn scraped flat, water damage patched, a 15-by-40 room made level enough that the light doesn't betray a seam. It is a Wilbraham painting company and painting is the bulk of the work — interiors, exteriors, cabinets, trim — but the ceiling jobs are what people write paragraphs about.
The reviews are many and current: 4.9 across 108 Google ratings, another 4.9 across 24 on Angi, and 111 reviews reaching back to 2007. Eleven landed in the last six months, none of them negative. Owner Matthew Long turns up by name in most accounts — quoting the job himself, stopping by mid-project, circling back afterward. The painters get named too, over and over: Justin, Jerry, Dan, Jacob, Jared. In May 2026 a customer wrote that Justin made their walls, trim and a former popcorn ceiling look brand-new; days earlier, someone braced for popcorn dust said the crew covered and cleaned every surface daily.
The work isn't only houses. In February 2026 the crew finished the 3,500-square-foot upper hall at American Legion Post 80. A June 2025 reviewer described a church nursery; an October 2024 one had a large metal-sided industrial building coated.
Two accounts run hard against the rest, and both are worth reading before you sign. On December 31, 2025 a customer wrote that a promised deep clean never happened, that multiple touch-ups were needed, that there were paint drips on the floor, and that the owner turned condescending and argumentative when confronted. Further back, an August 2023 reviewer described contracting for interior work in late 2022 that included a roughly $2,000 custom-made door taken off-site to be painted — and alleged that in January 2023 the owner kept the door as "leverage" against payment, then threatened in a January 24 email to destroy it. That is one customer's account of a payment dispute, and it is the most serious thing anyone has written about this company.
Against that, a March 2025 customer described a mistake on their job that the owner moved to fix without argument — which is the more common shape of things here.
For an interior repaint, a ceiling job, or a cabinet refinish in Western Massachusetts, this is about as consistent a run of accounts as a painting company accumulates. Put the scope, the punch list and the payment schedule in writing before anyone starts — especially if something of yours is leaving the property — and settle up front what "finished and cleaned" means.
