A1 Landscaping, based on Park Avenue in Revere, carries a single Google rating — five stars — and one written review, posted in January 2016, which reads in full: "Very good services." A decade on, that remains the whole of its public trail. Landscaping-only contractors are not required to hold Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, so there is no state registration to look up for this trade either. None of that is a mark against the work itself. It simply means anyone hiring them today cannot lean on what earlier customers said. Treat them as an unknown quantity: ask for two or three recent local references you can actually call, get the scope and the price in writing, and confirm they carry liability insurance before anyone starts.
