Go here for your inspection. No seriously, go here. I came 1 week before the end of the month, and I was done in 5 minutes. Like, the inspection guy came back faster than I could get my phone out to answer a text in the customer waiting area. So easy.

Could not pay me to go back. Wasted two trips only to be told each time it was going to fail even after solving the issue. Went to another insoector same day and passed. Don't waste your time.

Been going here for years, first with my work truck, then with my personal vehicle.
They don't mess around, get ya', get ya' out. If you have something wrong they tell you and will fix it (blinker or brake light bulb)
Several service bays, and plenty of employees. They do it all- semis, big trucks, work vans, trucks, cars. {No motorcycles, but there's a place just down the road) And they take cash OR CREDIT!
Plus they have a really cool wall of 100's of old license plates- All 50 states and then some....

The honest read
Mass Inspection, Inc. is a fast, “in and out” Massachusetts inspection shop that many reviewers describe as professional and straightforward, with frequent praise for efficiency and friendly staff. There are a few notable complaints about hours/availability and at least one experience involving a failed inspection and another about a vehicle being stolen after an inspection, so it’s worth confirming timing and being prepared for troubleshooting.
Where sources disagree
- Reviews emphasize “we’re in-and-out quickly,” but other reviews report being turned away or closed early, suggesting mixed reliability around scheduling/operating hours (E3719 vs. E3740/E3762).
- While many reviewers describe honesty and inspection-only focus, some negative reviews allege problematic inspection decisions or perceived attempts to extract money (e.g., E3793 vs. E3777/E3776).
What the evidence shows
Reviewers consistently describe the inspections as very fast and efficient (“in and out” in about 5–20 minutes).
Multiple reviewers praise the staff as professional, courteous, and helpful.
Some reviewers explicitly note that the business focuses on inspections and avoids a repair conflict of interest.
Google shows a very strong overall rating of 4.7★ across 503 ratings (as of 2026-06-23 in this packet).
The overall sentiment appears strongly positive overall, but the packet includes multiple low-star reviews about hours/availability and at least one severe complaint, which lowers confidence despite the high star average.
Worth knowing
Some customers report availability problems—being turned away early or arriving to find the business closed—contrary to stated hours.
There are negative experiences related to inspection outcomes and communications (e.g., alleged failures without clear explanation or advice).
One reviewer alleges a serious incident (vehicle stolen a week after inspection) and advises caution based on that experience.
