I have a two family, with side stairs and deck. The first floor deck was a bit wobbly. I removed one of the steps and noticed that the deck and stairs were holding on by a thread. Did some research and came across Derek Construction Inc. I sent an email On a Saturday.I got a reply back within 15 minutes, asking for my address and phone number and he was at my house within a half hour of me sending the email. Derek looked at the stairs in deck and noticed that this needed to be done ASAP (which we agreed, I wish I took a before picture. It was bad) He gave us a quote and he was at the house that Monday morning and was able to structurally stabilize the porch and replace the wood with all the PVC decking. As he was working on the porch, he also noticed that the Cement footing was also falling apart and was able to replace the cement footing to make sure the deck and stairs were structurally stabilized.<br><br>I would highly recommend Derek. He was very communicative and honest about the work That needed to be done. They were able to complete the job in one day. I will be calling him to repair the second floor stairs and deck That way, both units will match.

Derek Construction renewed our existing deck and added a staircase to our above ground pool. They did a great job and paid attention to the small details. Communication was great and price was reasonable. Highly recommend!

Derek and his team did very good job building a new deck for us. Derek is an excellent handyman, and his work is always in high quality. He is also easy to talk to and always understand standard our concerns and meet our needs. So we strongly recommend him and his team if you need any house related construction work.

Derek Construction communication from beginning to end was great. We had 10x32’ deck taken down and rebuilt with trex decking. The workmanship shown was above and beyond what we expected. We also had gutters installed in front and back of house and all this was done by Derek and his workers. Everything is hands on and always done with high standards. Any problem that we encountered they fix and communicated directly to us. We would highly recommend them. They are honest, hardworking, and fair!
